Your Closest Deadline, Always on Your Toolbar
Deadline Badge is a free deadline countdown Chrome extension. Add your follow-ups, demos, invoices, and launches once — the toolbar icon then shows exactly how much time is left until the next one. No dashboard to open, no account, no data leaving your device.

The badge always reflects the closest deadline
Does this sound like you?
Missed deadlines rarely come from not caring. They come from the date being somewhere you weren't looking.
Out of sight, out of mind
The deadline is in a calendar you only open when someone sends an invite — so it arrives without warning.
Reminders you've trained yourself to ignore
A pop-up 15 minutes before is either far too late to act on or one of forty you dismissed today.
Deadlines scattered everywhere
Follow-ups in the CRM, invoices in the accounting tool, launches in a project board, and the rest in your head.
No sense of how close it actually is
"Friday" reads the same on Monday as it does at 4pm Thursday, right up until it doesn't.
The one that quietly costs money
A missed proposal window, an invoice sent late, a follow-up that went cold — each one has a real price.
A deadline countdown you can't help but see
No new app to open and no habit to build — the number simply lives where you already look.

Install and pin
Add the extension and pin it so the countdown badge is always visible in your toolbar.
Add a deadline
Click the icon, then either add your own or start from one of the 8 templates with the timing pre-filled.
Carry on working
The badge counts down on its own — teal to amber to red — and notifies you the moment it lands.
Four states, no instructions needed
The badge changes both its number and its color as a deadline approaches, so urgency registers before you've read anything.
More than a day out
Teal — plenty of runway
Under 24 hours
Amber — today's problem
Under an hour
Amber — counting in minutes
Deadline reached
Red — plus a desktop notification
8 templates to start from
Each one pre-fills a sensible lead time — a demo call defaults to hours away, a tax deadline to weeks.
Built for people who work out of the browser
One countdown, put to work four different ways.
Sales Rep
Keep the next follow-up and demo call visible so warm deals don't cool off while you work the rest of the pipeline.
Freelancer
Track client deliveries, invoice due dates, and tax deadlines in one place — without paying for a project tool to do it.
Marketer
Watch a campaign launch or webinar start counting down in real time as the day gets closer.
Founder
Hold the handful of dates that actually matter this month in your peripheral vision instead of your head.
One Plan. Free Forever.
There's no server to run and no data to store, so there's nothing here to charge you for. No premium tier to eventually hit a wall on.
Available on the Chrome Web Store
From remembering to simply seeing
The same three deadlines, with and without a countdown in front of you.
Sales Follow-Up
The 48-hour follow-up window closes while the proposal sits in a CRM tab you didn't open.
The badge turns amber the day before, so the follow-up goes out while you're still fresh in their mind.
Client Delivery
Delivery dates blur together across three projects until one of them is suddenly overdue.
The closest delivery is on your toolbar all day — you feel it move from 5d to 2d without checking anything.
Invoices & Filings
The invoice or filing deadline lives in an email you archived and a calendar you don't check daily.
Added once with the invoice template, then visible every single day until it's handled.

You already know your deadlines.
What you don't have is a way to feel one getting closer while you're doing something else.
Deadline Badge puts that number where you already look a hundred times a day — the corner of your browser.
Free forever. No account. Nothing leaves your device.
About This Extension & Data Usage
Deadline Badge has no backend at all. It collects nothing, transmits nothing, and cannot see any website you visit.
Your Deadlines Stay on Your Device
Everything is written to your browser's own local storage. There is no server to send it to — the extension makes no network requests during normal operation.
No Access to Any Website
The extension requests no host permissions and installs no content scripts, so it has no technical ability to read or change the pages you browse.
Three Permissions, All Explained
Storage saves your deadlines locally. Alarms wakes the extension once a minute to keep the countdown accurate. Notifications tells you when a deadline is reached — and is checked at runtime, so turning notifications off is respected.
